Summary:
St. Louis University High School seeks a part-time, contract employee to fill the role of substitute teacher and general educational resource for a wide variety of potential needs during the 2020-2021 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an in-room sub for teachers who are teaching remotely with students who are in-person
- Assist the teachers with discipline and decorum as directed
- Monitor students for active engagement
- Maintain instructional activities when technology fails or is interrupted
- Assist with the Student Support Services Department
- Tutor individual students or groups
- Support Assistant Coaches or Club Moderators with their particular activities.
Education:
- 60 college credit hours from an accredited college or university (required)
- Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate (required)
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
