Interim Admissions Assistant
The Admissions Department is in need an Assistant from mid-March through early May to help with prospective family support. Core responsibilities include coordinating and hosting in-person visits for campus tours, shadow visits, parent coffees, and family interviews. The Assistant will also be available for the Scholastic High School Placement Test and other events as determined by the Department. The Admissions Assistant reports directly to the Assistant Director of Admissions.
The ideal candidate can relate well to the interests of 7th and 8th graders while highlighting the opportunities that SLUH offers in a professional manner. It Is essential to be available the first two hours (8:15-10:15) of the school day.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Work independently or part of a team
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite, use of MacBook Air & social media savvy
Education and Experience:
- Prior experience supporting an admissions effort
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
